Le Pain Quotidien is the bakery restaurant, serves simple, wholesome and sustainable food for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner in some locations. We source organic and local ingredients whenever possible for our soups, salads, signature tartines, homemade pastries and artisanal organic bread. Today, Le Pain Quotidian has a global community of over 250 restaurants throughout the world.
The concept remains essentially unchanged since founder, Alain Coumont, opened the first Le Pain Quotidian in Brussels in 1990. Ever since the beginning, a communal table made of reclaimed wood has formed the centerpiece of our bakery- restaurants. Here, we invite guests to escape their hectic urban lifestyles and savor the simplicity of good food and good company. Our rustic interiors and traditional dishes transport our customers to the Belgian countryside and a simpler way of life.
