DESCRIPTION:Dear members and friends\,\nWe are happy to inform you of a next webinar jointly organized with Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT). \n“Air cargo between Belgium and Japan in COVID times” \n  \nThe COVID-19 crisis has had a serious impact on logistics: there is a shortage of containers and container ships between Asia and Europe\, containers can get stuck\, prices are doubling or tripling\, which is all seriously effecting business. DESCRIPTION:Dear members\,\nThe collective of Asian BLCCs is going strong and we’re very excited to offer you this next talk together with all of them: \nBelgium looking ahead: Recovery\, Finance & Asia with Minister Vincent Van Peteghem \n  \nPlease join members from Japan to Singapore to Delhi on 8 June from 7pm – 8:15pm JST\, when we have the pleasure of listening to a talk by Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Vincent Van Peteghem. The talk will be introduced by Consul-General to Hong Kong & Macau\, Mr. Peter Robberecht. \n  \nMinister Van Peteghem is in charge of the Coordination of the Fight against Fraud. He helps to make the government’s ambitious recovery plan a reality. An important task is to work out a comprehensive reform of the federal tax system in order to modernise and simplify it and make it fairer. It is his ambition to help build a more prosperous\, sustainable\, safe and forward-looking society. \n  \nWith the above in mind\, Minister Vincent van Peteghem is looking forward to talking to you about: \n\nThe approach Belgium has taken to handle the COVID-19 situation\, mainly the vaccination program & the recovery plan;\nNew financial instruments implemented by the EU\, including green finance;\nThe relationship between Belgium & Asia and the increase of protectionism.\n\n  \nDo you have any questions before the talk?
