Will you be attending?
The South African Chamber of Commerce in Japan (SACCJ), in collaboration with the South African Embassy in Japan, is proud to announce that we will be hosting a series of webinars leading up to the start of the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, that will focus entirely on South Africa and Japan Sports Connections to illustrate how nations build bridges through sports.
As Japan prepares for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games in 2021, on the back of being the host nation of a successful 2019 Japan Rugby World Cup, the world is once again focused on Japan, her people and the Japanese culture.
As the world spectates these prestigious events, little is known about the impact that hosting these events have on sporting relations. As such, the SACCJ is inviting you to its first webinar series, commencing on the 17th of December 2020, that aims to highlight Japan-South Africa sports exchanges that have come about as a result of Japan hosting the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. The discussion will highlight how Fukuoka Prefecture and South Africa use sport as a catalyst to forge a legacy for both nations.
This invitation is open and free to the members of SACCJ, members of the Paralliance Partners (incl. BLCCJ members) and their guests*.
