Swiss Chamber luncheon open for BLCCJ members – mental health

申し訳ありません、このコンテンツはただ今 アメリカ英語 のみです。

The Swiss Chamber is pleased to invite you to their November luncheon with Mr. Hitoshi Tamai (Clinical Director, Tokyo Mentalhealth Counseling Center; Director, Tamai Psychological Laboratory), who will deliver a speech titled “Free from Impressions, Persistent Emotions: An Encounter with Yourself”.

In Spring 2021, the SCCIJ decided to make a donation in order to raise awareness for mental health issues. One of the two causes chosen is Tokyo Mental Health Square, a Japanese NPO providing counseling and mental support by phone, online, chat, SNS, and face-to-face. Mr. Tamai supports the NPO as a counselor.

In life, we encounter many things, some we can change, others we have to accept as changing them is beyond our power. Everyone has their own ways of thinking and believing, and are often unable to free themselves from their own mind and attitude. Knowing and taking good care of oneself is a crucial step towards self-acceptance. In his speech, Mr. Tamai will introduce clues on how one can be aware of one’s own way of thinking and feeling and on how to proceed to make meaningful changes in one’s life.
