We are happy to inform you of the following webinar organized by the BeLux Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and open to BLCCJ members as well.<\/em><\/p>\n

The upcoming phase-out of the interbank lending rate (IBOR<\/strong>) means big changes to financial services \u2013 but few firms are prepared.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On\u00a0Thursday 29 October 13:30 Japan time\u00a0<\/strong>BNP Paribas will give an insightful overview on the IBOR transition.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Julien Szternberg from\u00a0BNP Paribas<\/strong>\u00a0will provide us with an introduction to the IBOR transition, followed by an overview of the reasons for moving away from (L)IBOR & the alternative RFRs. In addition, he will discuss the consequences of the IBOR transition for FI & SMEs and the pricing implications.<\/p>\n

Afterwards Jenny Huang and Tracy Chan from\u00a0Ernst & Young Hong Kong\u00a0<\/strong>will present their insights from a consultancy point of view. They will cover topics including risk and valuation, legal implications & accounting and tax implications.<\/p>\n
