With the start of a new school year, it also feels time for us to go back to business.
In this regard H.E. Belgian Ambassador Roxane de Bilderling is inviting the BLCCJ members to the seated event: “A new start: challenges and business opportunities in the new normal”. Presentations by field experts from EBC, IKEA and OECD will be followed by a seated dinner.
October 1st, from 18:00 @ Belgian Embassy hall.
Seats are limited, but we can still welcome many members. So sign up now!
BLCCJ will also be part of the European Joint Chamber Cocktail, on October 21st, 19:00-21:00 @ Park Hyatt Tokyo 39F.
And don’t forget to sign up for our joint golf tournament with the French and Swiss Chambers on October 28 @ Tomisato GC.
The European Business Council (EBC) has released a statement on the recent changes to the (re-)entry ban to Japan, pointing out 3 issues: the required testing before returning to Japan for non-Japanese nationals, the entry of new expats who do not yet have a visa, and the entry of short-term business people. You can read the full statement here.
Unfortunately we cannot set up our Belgian shop at Belgian Beer Weekend this year. But that doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy some Belgian beers and food and atmosphere!
And you can order Belgian beers, the original BBW glass and look for inspiration for Belgian recipes and music on the Belgian Beer Weekend Home website.
