Webinar with KPMG: An Approach to Transfer Pricing: Arising Concerns and the Impact of COVID-19

Dear members,

Our next webinar is a joint effort with KPMG:

“An Approach to Transfer Pricing:
Arising Concerns and the Impact of COVID-19”

Our speaker, Ms. Mamiko Kimura, Manager at KPMG Tax Corporation, will be providing her insights on transfer pricing based on 15 years of experience in the field.
She will start the seminar by explaining the fundamentals of transfer pricing and familiarize with the concepts of the Arm’s Length Principle.
She will then introduce aspects unique to Japan (i.e. donation) and contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation that was last updated in 2019.
Finally, she will discuss recent topics in the field of transfer pricing, such as the concerns and impacts of COVID-19 on global businesses, along with ICAP (International Compliance Assurance Programme), a framework for multilateral risk assessment.

You can find the seminar agenda and speaker biography in attachment.
