AI, IoT and big data are reshaping industries. But did you know that quantum computing, another cutting-edge technology, could outpace today’s fastest supercomputers by a staggering 100 million times? Join us to explore the world of quantum computing!

On the morning of October 4th, BLCCJ, BCCJ, CCCJ and SpCCJ members and guests will have the opportunity to dive into this groundbreaking technology with experts from Oxford Instruments and Oxford Quantum Circuits Japan, who will break down the basics and guide us through the latest developments in this cutting-edge technology. As quantum computing begins to influence key industries in Japan, poised to revolutionise industries such as healthcare, finance, and materials science, understanding its potential is crucial for staying ahead in a competitive landscape.

Speakers will cover Quantum Computing 101 – Japan’s quantum computing landscape, fundamental concepts, potential applications, and the initiatives being undertaken by both the government and private sectors in this field. Join us to hear from leading voices in this emerging sector and gain a clear understanding of quantum computing’s role in shaping Japan’s technological future, and explore how these advancements might impact your industry and business going forward.

This event is led by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ).

SPEAKERS

Professor Todd Tilma | Senior Quantum Engineer, Oxford Quantum Circuits Japan
