BeLuxCham Vietnam ESG Conference and Gala Night 30 November and 01 December
ShareTo celebrate the 20th year of BeluxCham in Vietnam and the 50th-year relationship between Belgium and Vietnam, BeluxCham Vietnam will organize a 2-day conference with the topic: ESG – Evolving to the Next Level at Pullman Saigon Center from November 30 – December 01. In 2 days, BeluxCham Vietnam will organize a High-lever plenary session, 12 seminars with 12 different topics, and end the event with a Gala Ball.
ESG has gained prominence in Vietnam, driven by government efforts. Vietnam’s prime minister announced climate-action commitments, including net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, at COP26. The EVFTA, which was signed in 2019, aims to boost trade and support ESG goals in Vietnam. However, many SMEs still struggle to align with ESG objectives.
Through this 2-day conference, BeLuxCham Vietnam aims to show what ESG in all its facets stands for, how the EVFTA enables focus and awareness of ESG in Vietnam, and how companies can learn from each other, from clear examples and case studies and how to start implementing ESG in all its different aspects.
Belgian and Luxembourg companies in Vietnam are actively contributing to this goal and through this 2-day conference BeLuxCham, together with the support of the Belgian Embassy in Vietnam and the Luxembourg Embassy to Vietnam, wants to show the Vietnamese market how the companies are building up their ESG knowledge and mindset.
