The Japan Market Expansion Competition (JMEC) program – which is supported by 18 foreign Chambers of Commerce and trade organisations in Japan incl. BLCCJ – is now open for applications from prospective new Participants and Project Clients for its 29th edition.

Are you a business owner looking for a business plan tailored to the Japanese market for your market entry or business expansion? If so, take part in JMEC 29!

As a JMEC Project Client, you can receive a professional business plan developed by some of Japan’s brightest up-and-coming business leaders for a fraction of the cost of hiring outside consultants. To learn more about this opportunity, visit the JMEC homepage at www.jmec.gr.jp and contact JMEC Program Director Trond Varlid (trond@jmec.gr.jp) and JMEC Program Assistant Nele Duprix (nele@jmec.gr.jp) to discuss and get more details.

You can find the application form here:
https://jmec.gr.jp/project-clients
Application deadline for Project Clients is 30 November, 2022 (early bird deadline is 30 September, 2022).

Or are you looking to upgrade your business skills?
JMEC is also looking for individual applicants to participate in the program and learn how to research and develop a professional business plan. This ‘mini MBA’ style program includes classroom training with experienced executives and successful entrepreneurs as lecturers—as well as hands-on experience in writing a business plan for a real business project, submitted by a real company.
Interested applicants can find more information here: https://jmec.gr.jp/participants
Application deadline for Participants is 15 October, 2022 (early bird deadline is 30 September, 2022).

Information sessions for prospective participants will start from 7 September till 12 October, 2022:

Some companies may want to send employees to the JMEC program for training. Please refer to the attached info sheet aimed at management and HR executives. For further information please contact Trond Varlid (trond@jmec.gr.jp) and Nele Duprix (nele@jmec.gr.jp)

The BLCCJ is a proud sponsor of JMEC and encourages our members and the greater business community to get involved with this excellent program!
