The BLCCJ is hosting the following webinar:
Navigating Mid-Career Choices
Insights for Both Mid-Career Professionals and Companies Operating in Japan

The middle years of a career often bring both opportunity and reflection.
By the time professionals reach their 30s and 40s, many have built strong expertise, developed a deep understanding of their industry, and gained valuable experience working in Japan. At the same time, this stage often raises new questions about growth, leadership, and the next step forward.

For professionals, it may mean stepping into leadership roles, broadening responsibilities, or reassessing long-term career paths.
For companies operating in Japan, supporting and retaining experienced mid-career talent—often with international backgrounds and local expertise—has become increasingly important.

During this session experienced executives will share their perspectives on career development and leadership growth within Japan’s international business environment.

As speakers we will welcome:

  • Jean-Pierre Bernardino, President and Representative Director, Puratos Japan
  • James Haines, Managing Director & Country Manager for Japan, ING Bank N.V.

The webinar will be moderated by BLCCJ Director Sandrine Monette.
