Third Women’s Discussion Circle

Following the great success of the previous editions, BLCCJ is pleased to announce its third Women’s Discussion Circle.

We invite female professionals to join us for a drink and conversation in an open and safe environment on Thursday 4 June, from 17:00, at the Belgian Embassy.

After the women-only discussion circle, we will open up the event to all managers, male and female, to share some of the insights of the circle and enjoy a networking reception.

Keynote speaker will be Ms. Kaori Ikeda, General Manager of La Prairie Japan.

What is a circle?

A circle is an interactive forum where participants engage in authentic conversations.
It is a safe place to share experiences and discuss how to thrive as a woman in the workplace.

The next circle will focus on the following theme:
Crafting Recommendations for a Better Collaboration: Women & Managers in Dialogue

In small groups, participants will share experiences and challenges, explore common misunderstandings and biases, and co-develop actionable recommendations from both women’s and management perspectives.

• 18:30-20:00 Networking reception (open to all)
  – with keynote speech and insights of the discussions

Venue: The Embassy of Belgium in Tokyo

Audience: maximum 30 women for the discussion circle, first come first served (no specific limit for the networking reception)

• Members and their guests get priority
• Non-members get their chance through the waiting list

Fee: Free of charge, but prior registration is required
