The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation is pleased to launch its 2027 Defence Business Mission to Japan.
Candidates are welcome to apply for the Defence Business Mission, which takes place from April 27 to 30, 2027.
Application deadline: December 18, 2026.
Places available: Up to 16 participants
The call is open to SMEs, large companies and clusters from the EU or countries associated with the Single Market Programme, SME Pillar, subject to eligibility criteria.
What Participants Receive
Selected participants benefit from a comprehensive package designed to maximise their exposure and business opportunities in Japan, including:
- Exhibition space within the EU pavilion
- Tailored B2B matchmaking programme
- Professional interpretation and translation support
- Poster design and printing services
- Pre-departure business training and market briefing
- Hotel accommodation during the mission
Participants are responsible for their travel and daily living expenses.
A €1,000 deposit is refundable upon full participation and submission of the required questionnaires. Large companies also pay a €2,500 non-refundable contribution fee.
