Matchmaking Event at the Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair, 13-15 Nov

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, Kawasaki City and UNIDO ITPO Tokyo are co-organising an exclusive matchmaking event at the Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair from 13 to 15 November 2024.

EU participants will be able to meet Japanese companies and representatives from the Philippines (Cebu) and Cambodia to discuss EU-Japan joint projects in the Philippines and Cambodia.

A call for applications is open for EU companies and their subsidiaries in Japan and Southeast Asia developing sustainable solutions related to energy, the circular economy, waste and resource management or doing consulting and project management in Southeast Asia.

The deadline for applications is 8 October 2024 at midnight (Tokyo time)

Event dates:

13-15 November 2024

 

Venue:

Culttz Kawasaki (1 Chome-1-4 Fujimi, Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki, Kanagawa 210-0011)

 

Programme:

  • Day 1: booth tour and networking reception (Culttz Kawasaki)
  • Day 2: pitching and matchmaking sessions (Culttz Kawasaki)
  • Day 3: company visits (in Kawasaki)
  • Your company’s promotional materials will be displayed at the EU-Japan Centre’s booth during the first 2 days.

 

Language:

English and Japanese. Interpreters (Japanese<>English) will be present throughout the event.

 

Eligibility:

  • EU companies and their subsidiaries in Japan or other Asian countries (especially in the Philippines and Cambodia).
  • Active in the following areas:
    >Resource management and resource recycling
    >Waste management
    >Circular economy
    >Renewable energy
    >Environmental solutions
    >Water treatment and water management
    >Other green solutions
    >Consulting on projects related to the above fields in Southeast Asia
    >Project management in Southeast Asia

 

Cost:

Participation in the event is free of charge (participants are responsible for covering the following expenses: flight/local transportation to the venue and accommodation)
