Message BLCCJ President regarding COVID-19

Dear Members and Friends,

What first struck us as a temporary Breaking News is turning into a full-length feature movie.

Measures are urgently to be taken concerning health/safety – on both corporate and private fronts – and economic survival.

It is now the first priority of BLCCJ to help, inform, establish common platforms to exchange ideas and opinions.

So far, our strength has always been a strong bonding among our group. We know each other, often very well, we help each other.

Moreover, I dare say we are very close and cooperating with our Embassies, which I hereby thank for their unfailing support, as always.

And trust me, very few foreign communities in Japan enjoy such privilege.

Allow me the cliché, but we will get out of this together, and therefore we count on your help as well, while being assured of ours.

1) Newsletter

As a member you probably already receive our « crisis Newsletter », which we have set up quite early, regularly updating you on the related news & info specific to our BeLux-Japan community.

If you are not yet on the mailing list and wish to be, please contact us (info@blccj.or.jp) Your contribution to articles is always welcome, naturally.

You can also find all newsletters here on our website.

2) LinkedIn BLCCJ group

The best way to extend and benefit from solidarity, but also to exchange about issues which really matter to you and relate to your specific situation, is to gather on a forum. At your disposal is our LinkedIn BLCCJ groupWe invite you to join us there!

More generally speaking, we still of course maintain our office open (partly teleworking) and presence on Facebook.

We are there for you, truly.

Some of you might remember the 2011 Fukushima crisis. We did a pretty good job, and trust us, we will do the same…or better!

Stay all strong and safe, and join the LinkedIn group right away!
