BLCCJ OFFICE NEWS

1) Board of Directors
At our AGM on 15 December 2021 you elected a new Board of 13 Directors.

Amongst themselves they have appointed 5 officers:
-President: Fabrice Tilot
-Vice Presidents: Jan De Bock and Laurent Depus
-Treasurer: Frederic Lucron
-Secretary-General: Kevin Dethoor

We hope to present you to the BLCCJ Board of Directors 2022-2023 soon!

 

2) MoU Asian Chambers
On 16 December 2021 the BLCCJ concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with more than 10 other BeLux & EuroCham Chambers in Asia.

BLCCJ members are now invited to review the event calendars of the participating Chambers and when interested, participate on the same conditions as members from the organizing Chamber. This applies to webinars but also to in-person events when business travel can resume.

 

3) Federation of BeLux Chambers
The BLCCJ has obtained a renewal of its accreditation by the Federation of Belgian-Luxembourg Chambers Abroad (BLCCA).

The Federation announced the news in their latest newsletter, which also featured an interview with BLCCJ General Manager Sophie Bocklandt.

 

EVENTS

You can sign up for the following 3 events:

1) Wednesday 26 January, 18:00-19:00: webinar with flagship member Puratos on “Sustainability and Fairness in the chocolate world”

 

2) Thursday 3 February, 18:30-22:00: New Year party @ Le Petit Tonneau Toranomon

 

3) Weekend of 12/13 February: Inter-Chamber Ski and Snowboard Networking Retreat @ Lotte Arai Resort in Niigata (the Austrian Chamber is taking the lead, BLCCJ is supporting the event)

 

Kindly note that we might have to cancel the live events in view of the corona situation at that time. We will keep you informed.

Price : JPY 5,000 inclusive of welcome drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and mineral water per person (normal price is JPY 9,500)

-Dinner (5-course menu)
Days : Tuesday to Friday
Time : 18:00 to 23:00 (20:00 Last Order)
Price : JPY 12,000 inclusive of welcome drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and mineral water per person (normal price is JPY 17,000)

-Wine Lounge 11F
Days : Tuesday and Wednesday
Time : 18:00 to 20:00
Price : JPY 9,000 includes 2 hours free flow of sparkling, white and red wine, beer, soft drinks, gin and whisky + selection of tapas (normal price is JPY 9,350 for 1,5 hours)

Terms & Conditions:
1) Members need to make an advance booking and this is subject to the availability of seats.
To make a booking, please contact our BLCCJ office with your name, number of guests and desired date and time. We will liaise with the restaurant.

2) Maximum 4 guests are eligible in one group.
