GALA BALL 2021

After careful consideration, the Board of Directors has decided to launch the BLCCJ Gala Ball 2021 “Ready To Take Off Again”. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday 5 November, from 18:30, at the Conrad Tokyo hotel.
We are very hopeful that we can go ahead with this flagship networking event of the year, but please understand that we might have to cancel or reschedule based on the COVID-19 situation.

NIPPON EXPORT AWARD
We regret to announce that one of our flagship business events, the Nippon Export Award, cannot happen this year due to a low number of applications received by the deadline.
Therefore we have decided to postpone the award to 2022, giving companies 1 extra year to prepare!

-For those who could not yet get vaccinated, the German Chamber of Commerce has launched its own vaccination campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW).

The first round of vaccinations has started today and will run till 12 September.

They charge JPY 4,000 pp

-The European Business Council (EBC) is supportive of the recent statement by the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) that vaccinated people should be exempted from quarantine.

-For those planning to travel to Belgium in the near future, be aware that Japan has been designated a red zone again.
