Winner of the Nippon Export Award 2024-2025

This year we organized the 12th edition of our Nippon Export Award (NEA), an initiative to reward SMEs or large companies that have made significant achievements in exporting to Japan, importing into Japan, or distributing within Japan, Belgian-Luxembourg products or services.

By the application deadline of 30 August we had received 9 candidacies, out of which the NEA task force selected 4 finalists.
They presented on 1 October to an independent jury.

We are thrilled to hereby announce that The Cookware Company (GreenPan) is the winner of the Nippon Export Award 2024-2025!
The jury praised the company for tackling the very important issue of PFAS in Japan, for making the debate tangible by producing everyday products, frying pans. Furthermore the company has well adapted their products to the Japanese consumer, and their numerous marketing efforts are commendable.

On 10 December we will organize an award ceremony at the Belgian Embassy in Tokyo.
