Winner of the Nippon Export Award 2026-2027

This year we organized the 13th edition of our Nippon Export Award (NEA), an initiative to reward SMEs or large companies that have made significant achievements in exporting to Japan, importing into Japan, or distributing within Japan, Belgian-Luxembourg products or services.

By the application deadline of 4 September we had received 4 candidacies, out of which the NEA task force selected 3 finalists.

They presented on 9 October to an independent jury.

We are thrilled to hereby announce that Beal International is the winner of the Nippon Export Award 2026-2027!

The jury recognised the company’s commitment for preserving the traditional Japanese sakan (左官) craftmanship and promoting it towards women. The jury also praised the company’s efforts to adapt to the Japanese market, including the integration of Japanese stones, as well as its commitment to using materials that pose no health risks.

On 10 December we will organize an award ceremony at the Belgian Embassy in Tokyo.
