The BLCCJ is inviting you to a next webinar:
“Power Harassment in Japan – what is it and how to avoid it”
In Japan, power harassment has become a serious problem throughout the country. In May 2019, a law called the “Power Harassment Prevention Law” was passed. Recommendations to tackle power harassment became obligatory from June 1, 2020 for large employers and came into effect from April 1, 2022 for small and medium-sized employers.
Concretely we will tackle the following 3 topics:
1) Definition of and regulations relating to ‘Power Harassment’ in the Japanese law
2) Specific examples of Power Harassment
3) How to avoid Power Harassment
We have once again invited Hiroshi Chiba, Attorney at law (Japan), to speak, and Catherine O’Connell, Registered Foreign Lawyer (Japan), to moderate the webinar.
You can find their resumes in the attachment.
