How does Japan’s status as a trade-dependent economy affect its relationships with key partners and its role in international trade agreements, particularly in navigating trade relations with major economies like the U.S., China, and the EU, and how does participation in regional trade agreements impact its economic performance?
What could be the consequences of the recent financial misconduct allegations, considering the sharp decline in the approval ratings of Kishida’s administration?
What are the key features of Japan’s 2024 political landscape, including parliamentary elections, defense and economic policy debates, climate change actions, and diplomatic engagements in the G7 and with global partners?
