-In view of the 160th anniversary of Belgium-Japan friendship relations, the Embassy has shared the following list of events:
- On the shores of Lake Chuzenji in Oku-Nikko, the ‘Royal Belgian Embassy Villa,’ which is still used as an embassy villa, will be specially opened to the public on 3, 4 and 5 July 2026.
- The Belgian National Orchestra, led by the internationally acclaimed conductor Mikko Frank, will tour Japan in the fall and perform in Oita (27 October), Nagoya (30 October), Kurashiki (1 November), Musashino (2 November), Mie (3 November), and will end this exceptional tournée at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on 4 November.
-The latest newsletter of sister organization Belgo-Luxembourg Market Council (BLMC) features an interview with Belgian Ambassador Antoine Evrard.

-The European Business Council in Japan (EBC) has launched a survey regarding Japan’s new Foreigners’ Policy.

-The Kansai Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) is hosting an industrial tour focused on the life sciences sector in Osaka and
Kyoto on 30 June. For more information and to register, please refer to this attachment – application deadline is 15 June.
-The Luxembourg Financial Academy (LFA) is a practical e-learning programme that gives participants a clear understanding of Luxembourg’s fund ecosystem at a competitive price. The programme is mainly aimed at young professionals.
