-After 32 years BLCCJ member restaurant Champ de Soleil is closing its doors in Kanda on 19 December. We want to thank Chef Harada and his team for the great Board Meetings, dinners and luncheons we could hold there all these years!
-Belgian Beer Weekend is welcoming you in Kyoto from today 8 till Monday 12 October at Ohigashi-san Hiroba Square.
-BLCCJ member Michel De Vriendt is leading the peace initiative Sakura Bridges of Hope – 桜でつなぐ希望の架け橋. This Sunday 11 and Monday 12 October, 10:00-17:00, at the International Christian University, you can visit the related exhibition and enjoy the dialogue programme. Admission is free, no registration is required. You can find more information in this press release and on this poster.
-BLCCJ member Wim Eynatten was one of the Recipients of the 2026 Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendations, in recognition of his long-time contributions to Japan-Belgium relations. Congratulations, Wim!
-The end of the year is approaching – time to think of the BLCCJ Christmas Basket!

-On 21 and 22 September, General Manager Sophie represented the BLCCJ at the annual BLCCA Academy in Luxembourg, organised by the Federation of Belgian Chambers with support of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
Sophie could meet with several related organizations and people.

-BLCCJ members are welcome to join TechBIZKON X, bringing together innovative European startups, Japanese and international corporates, investors, and business leaders. This year’s edition focuses on LifeTech+, with 30+ selected European startups participating and showcasing innovative technologies and solutions. FIT is one of the organizers.

-From 28 October to 4 November, the National Orchestra of Belgium will tour Japan as part of the celebrations marking 160 years of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan. The schedule is as follows :

-On 29 and 30 October evening you can enjoy the movie concert “Rien ne s’oppose à la nuit / Nothing opposes the night” at the Belgian Embassy.
