With the lifting of the state-of-emergency we are hopeful that we can soon organize live events again.

 

GALA:

Thanks to your enthusiasm our Gala “Ready To Take Off Again” on 5 November at Conrad Tokyo has reached full capacity.
However, we urge you to inform us if you are not yet registered but interested to join, we will do our utmost best to accommodate you.

If you are considering to sponsor the raffle, please keep in mind that the sponsor deadline is 19 October.

Also keep in mind that there is still a possibility we have to cancel the gala.
This will depend on the decision of the Tokyo government regarding the restrictions after 24 October. If we need to cancel, we will inform you asap.

MEMBER NEWS:

-BLCCJ flagship member company Puratos Japan (and its President, BLCCJ Director Jean-Pierre Bernardino) is featured in the latest Japan Times Sustainable Japan section.
The company’s signature sustainability initiative, Cacao-Trace, partners with farmers in the countries that produce the cacao for Puratos, empowering them to produce the best possible product and redefining standards for chocolate.

-Belgian brand Kipling (imported by BLCCJ member company L&S Corporation) has collaborated on a bag collection with Japanese brand Tricote.
The collection is available from today.

-We are still welcoming member companies to join our King’s Day advertisement in The Japan News on 16 November. Deadline is 15 October.
So far we have received confirmation from Aqua Plannet (Belgian Brasserie Court), Delvaux Japan, Edelweiss (Wittamer Japon). Solvay and UCB Japan.

BLCCJ is one of the supporters of the EXPAT EXPO TOKYO 2021 (Nov 5 and 6 @ Hamamatsucho-kan)
At this expo you will find various English-friendly businesses, from schools to real estate companies to local tourism associations. And you will be able to enjoy traditional Japanese culture through samurai performances, kimono wearing experiences, shamisen playing experiences, mangekyo (kaleidoscope) making experiences, sake tasting etc.
